It is a paradox that the biggest and the worst societal shortcomings are not visible in the biggest pompous events, but in the tiniest, daily, almost anonymous facts, as in Atelier ‘Hug me’. Very few people have the mental strength to do what the team of ‘Hug me’ does – they interact daily with children from homes for children without parental care. And they interact with these “creatures” like one should with normal, healthy, happy human beings. I use on purpose the word ‘creature”, because these children’s suffering is very big, very heavy and very difficult to bear. Their need for love, care, a hug, a conversation, is so big that when one sees it, one crumbles, starts crying, cannot bear it.
Where do ‘Hug me’ team find this strength! Who gave them so much love that they give it fearlessly and unstoppably to these miserable, hungry for love children! How many of us could do that day in and day out? Let’s help Atelier ‘Hug me’. We could long and dream for the hours during which one would treat us as normal, healthy and joyous human beings.
